You may download the software in Step 5 of the Sign Up process or by visiting http://www.mybsl.net/download/ in any web browser.
NOTE: You do not need to download this application if you are using a "Family & Friends" account.
If you are using Firefox:
  • Select the button "Download BSL for Vista" or "Download BSL for XP" based on which Microsoft Operating System your computer uses.
  • Select "Save" to begin the download and select your "desktop" as the location to save "BigScreenSetup.exe".
  • After the download is complete, you will see a new icon on your desktop named "BigScreenSetup,exe". Find the "BigScreenSetup.exe" icon and double click it to begin installing the BigScreenLive application
  • Then select "Start Installation". You’ll see the "User License" agreement. Once you select "Yes, I Agree". The application will be installed on your computer. The installation is complete when "Thanks" appears. Select "Thanks" to continue and BigScreenLive will start automatically and log in for the first time. Use the username and password you decided on in the sign up process.
If you are using Internet Explorer:
  • Select the button "Download BSL for Vista" or "Download BSL for XP" based on which Microsoft Operating System your computer uses.
  • After selecting the download button a dialog box will appear asking if "you want to run or save this file". Select "Run" to begin the download process.
  • A standard warning may appear asking if you would like to "run software from this vendor." Select "Run".
  • The BigScreenLive Client Setup will automatically begin. When prompted, select "Start Installation". The BigScreenLive setup process will install a new icon, BigScreenLive Client, on your desktop. The installation is complete when "Thanks" appears in a box. Select "Thanks" to continue.
  • When setup is complete, BigScreenLive should start automatically. If this does not happen, double-click the new BigScreenLive Client icon on your desktop to start using BigScreenLive!!
Anytime you would like to use BigScreenLive in the future, double-click the "BigScreenLive Client" icon on your desktop or start menu.
